Why it is NOT named after Village name or Locality Name, Why it is called TULASIMATA?

We never knew NAME for this holy place, Except lots of Tulasi was Grown at the entrance gate when we visited after samkalpa by Sreedhara from Abbur near ChennapaTna. in 2006.Later It was decided to reach out devotees by giving Tulasi saplings. Initially villagers used to call it as Tulasi ToTa( Tulasi Garden) When the Date for Pratishtapane was nearing We started calling as TULASIMATA. Tula Means Balance,Si means which maintains that balance is Tulasi, another version is incomparable because of its Quality to any other plant -is Tulasi

Free 10 Lakh Tulasi Distribution is our Flagship Project. Till date 4 lakh Tulasi Saplings Distributed free, about 30000 to Mantralaya and 30000 to Udupi maTa for Tulasi Garden, When we give to any public it is free but when You want to give to set of people it is charged, WE are looking for Sponsorship for this project.10,000 to 15,000/- per Month
